Go Fullscreen No thanks

Released some significant performance and appearance upgrades today. Here are the most noticeable ones:

• Game Logos will now remain visible when scores are scrolled vertically.
• Added an option to use smaller QR codes on the gameroom screen.
• Added an option to reposition QR codes on the gameroom screen to the bottom of the game columns.
• Improved initial gameroom load time by at least one second for all gamerooms, and significantly more than one second in larger gamerooms.

Other improvements include:

• Added a third sheet to the "Download Scores" spreadsheet, which displays only the top score for each game.
• Improved load handling for synced gamerooms - "Too Many Connections" messages should occur less frequently.
• Fixed a bug preventing Stern Insider scores from automatically updating if no scores had ever been manually entered into a gameroom.
• Fixed a bug where a "highlighted" game would be hidden behind the "Overall Leaders" column if "Overall Leaders" was set to be always visible.
• Fixed a typo in the gameroom HTML that was causing weirdness with the top margin.
• Added "https://" to the URLs encoded into the QR Codes because apparently some very small percentage of phones are too dumb to figure out that a string starting with "iscored.info/" is a URL.
• Fixed a javascript error that was occurring when an iScored gameroom was being displayed inside another site's iFrame.
• Made some behind-the-scenes security improvements. (Don't worry about it.)

Here is a typical iScored game room (this one is for the current high scores for the Monday Night League at CarPool Bar in Arlington, Virginia -- stop by some time!)

This gameroom is operating in "Public Mode", meaning you can view scores, and you can tap on names to see a list of all the high scores for that person, but you cannot enter new scores or modify existing ones.

The screen automatically scrolls side to side if you don't do anything for a few seconds.

You can make it full-screen by hitting F11 on a Mac or PC (or using the fullscreen button on your browser). By the way, there are easy ways to launch it in fullscreen mode automatically, and it's designed to be touchscreen-compatible, if you're thinking of setting it up as a kiosk in your game room.
